A brief history of the center
The Center for Medical Education of Foreign Students was established as a subdivision of the Medical Faculty of KRSU by Order № 33-11-P dated 19.09.2022 "On Amendments to the organizational structure of the University".
The mission of the Center for medical education of foreign students of KRSU is to train foreign doctors (with English as the language of instruction) who are able to carry out high-quality treatment at the level of primary health care, as well as for further postgraduate medical education, combining high general professional training with a broad general cultural outlook, computer literacy, knowledge and skills of interpersonal communication, which are given in the university learning environment; creation of conditions for the harmonious development of the personality of foreign students, the formation of a positive atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie; assistance in adapting to the living and learning conditions of foreign students.
The objectives of the center are:
- Implementation of educational programs aimed at improving the system of higher education in the field of medicine and increasing the level of theoretical knowledge of foreign students studying at the Medical Faculty of KRSU.
- Implementation and adaptation of new training and advanced training programs for foreign medical personnel in approved specialties using modern educational technologies.
- Information support in the field of the latest achievements, advanced domestic and foreign experience in teaching foreign students.
The objectives of the center are:
- Organization of educational, methodical, scientific, career guidance and educational work among the contingent of foreign students studying in English.
- organization and optimization of the educational process at the faculty among the contingent of foreign students studying in English.
- Organization of the development of curricula based on state educational standards for educational programs, for the preparation of which the faculty is responsible among the contingent of foreign students studying in English.
- Organization and coordination of research (including of a scientific and methodological nature) and development work among the contingent of foreign students studying in English.
- Cooperation with related faculties of the university and other universities in all types of faculty activities.
